Foil Stamping Class

In this one-day workshop, we will explore the basics of foil stamping with a Kwikprint Foil Stamper.
 
We will use both hand set type and metal 'cuts', and work with stamping plates, 
which type artists can have made for their personal projects/work.
 
In the afternoon, we will also explore the world of hand-tooling—using traditional book binding 
tools and techniques to add foil elements and letters to artwork.

Please bring a very short quotation to hand-set in type.  We will make a small portfolio of pieces to share with each other at the end of the class.  Each of us should be able to have one or two sets to take home.
 
Class size limited to 10 students.

We will have a 45 minute break for lunch, it is best if students bring a sack lunch.There are quick restaurants and convenience stores nearby, if needed.
